Cocaine Dipstrip Drug Urine Test is usually taken to identify the presence of any substances in biological fluids. The test is very simple and provides a high-quality detection of COC in urine. 300 nanograms/milliliter of COC cutoff of the test is the same to assay cutoff recommended by SAMHSA.
- Test strip placed on the foil pouch need to be removed
- Carefully dip the test strip into the urine sample. NOTE: Hold the test strip vertically. DO NOT plunge the test strip past the max line
- Test results will be ready at three to five minutes
- When the test kit start working you can control its correctness. If a color band appears on the left side of the result window the test is going correctly. This is the Control Band.
- The test results are shown on the right side of the result window. You should see a color band at the right section of the result window. This is the Test Band.
The test can show only three possible outcomes Negative, Positive and Invalid.
NEGATIVE RESULT: 2 COLOR BANDS
If two color bands appeared in the result window, it means that test result is negative. No COC above 300 ng/ml cutt-off was detected. Test band color may appear darker or lighter than the Control Band color.
POSITIVE RESULT: SINGLE COLOR BAND
The test result is considered positive if only one colored band appears in the result window. It means that the specimen contains the COC.
INVALID RESULT:
The test is considered invalid if left section of the result windows contains no color bands. Color band should always appear.
IMPORTANT. A very dim band on the right section of the result window visible in five minutes, indicates that COC level in the urine sample is near to the cut-off level of the Cocaine Dipstrip Drug Urine test. In this case test should be done one more time or confirmed by another alternative method.
